James A. Martin Jr.

James A. Martin Jr., age 81 of West Deer on February 29, 2024. 

He was a devoted husband of 56 years to Maureen Kessler Martin. 

Loving father of Amy Romac (Steve), Jim Martin III (Kristen), Craig Martin (Christine) and Sara Rodgers (Will). 

Grandfather of Zach, Mackenzie, Jimmy, Kylie, Cameron and Chloe. 

Son of the late Elizabeth and James A. Martin Sr. 

Brother of Andy and Steve Martin. Preceded in death by his sister, Libby Martin. 

Also survived by many nieces and nephews. 

Jim was all about spending time with family and friends. 

He especially looked forward to his summers at Edinboro Lake and all of the friendships that he made there over the years.   

Jim was a real estate appraiser for many years.  He was a member of the Rotary Club of Etna-Shaler as well as a lifetime member of both the Elfinwild Volunteer Fire Company and the Bull Creek Rod and Gun Club.   

Jim fought bravely against cancer with unwavering strength and courage.   

He will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by everyone who knew him. 

No Visitation, Service and Interment held privately.
