Amelia "Millie" Radziwon Obituary

On Sunday, March 3, 2024, at the age of 85, Amelia "Millie" Radziwon peacefully departed after a courageous battle with cancer. Throughout many months of chemotherapy, Millie's gentle yet resilient disposition, coupled with her unwavering faith, carried her through with grace and strength.

Millie was born in Scottdale, Pennsylvania, on March 20, 1938, to Acenzo and Lucia Vinzani, the ninth of ten beloved children. She is survived by her devoted husband of 63 years, Thomas Radziwon, her daughters Lisa Ball (husband Michael), and Linda Schindler (husband Joseph).

A dedicated matriarch, Millie poured her heart into her role as a grandmother to Ashley, Katie, Stephen, TJ, Matthew, and Brian (deceased), as well as her great-grandchildren Michael, Hailey, and twins, Austin and Grayson. She found immense joy in cheering on Pittsburgh's sports teams and attending her grandchildren's and great-grandchildren's activities.

Millie's love for Elvis Presley's music, particularly "Love Me Tender," mirrored the eternal bond she shared with Tom over six decades. She cherished her time spent at bingo with friends at the senior center and the occasional trips to the casino.

Known for her genuine kindness and the affectionate "Vinzani Love" she shared with her family, Millie held a special place in her heart for her four sisters, five brothers, and her cherished sister-in-laws.

Visitation will take place at Neely Funeral Home, 2208 Mt Royal Blvd, Glenshaw, PA 15116, on Friday, March 8th, from 2-4 PM and 6-8 PM. A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Matthew Parish, St. Bonaventure Church, 2001 Mt Royal Rd, Glenshaw, PA 15116 on Saturday the 9th at 11 AM, officiated by Rev. James R. Gretz. Everyone Please Meet At Church.

The family expresses heartfelt gratitude to the dedicated teams at Hillman Cancer Center, Passavant Hospital, and the Vincentian organization for their compassionate care.

Millie's presence will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her, but her legacy of love, faith, and kindness will forever live on in the hearts of those she touched.

In lieu of flowers memorials are suggested to the Hillman Cancer Center, 5115 Centre Avenue, Pittsburgh PA 15232.
